West Ruwenzori Diocese would love to see her people well-nourished. It is said, “a healthy mind in a healthy body." We shall partner with the Government of Uganda (Ministry of Health) and other non-governmental organisations to promote health programmes throughout the Diocese. We are going to establish health facilities in our diocese, but beginning with rehabilitating the already existing Mantoroba Church of Uganda-founded Health Centre III, ensure it is fully stocked with drugs and well-staffed. This will address the challenges of those who are physically ill and minimise the challenges of walking long distances to health facilities and service delivery. For the sustainability of the facility, patients shall be charged an affordable fee to access the services.
