Education
Our church-founded schools exhibit a strong and deeply rooted Christian character. Our schools shall continue to promote values and virtues that reflect the Christian heritage on which they are founded. We are guided by Proverbs 22:6, which says, “Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their lives.” The Church it’s self to offering leadership to ensure that our church-founded schools are centres of excellence in academics and character formation, inhabited by staff and learners that are relevant to the community as a whole and to the church in particular. Schools are required to prepare these children for life, not merely to excel in exams alone. There is a common saying that goes, ‘It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men’. We are determined to build them into enlightened, well-prepared for life, and God-fearing citizens of this country. As a diocese, we shall closely monitor, guide, and strengthen the leadership and governance of our church-founded schools.
